Join us in our 8 week:
“Motivate Don’t Hibernate Challenge”
Lindsay and I are feeling a bit overwhelmed with expanding families and work life, and our feet are dragging when it comes to taking time each day (or even each week) for ourselves. We’ve each decided to choose a goal to accomplish within the next 8 weeks that directly relates to taking better care of ourselves...and we wonder if anyone would care to join us for a little motivational challenge. This challenge is about setting a goal, sticking to it, and being held accountable for reaching the goal. Because there is no better reward than setting a goal and achieving it. (Except maybe a little celebration at the end of the 8 weeks, which we’ll plan for anyone who chooses to join us for this challenge).
Here are the details:
Pick ONE goal to achieve within 8 weeks that is tied with taking better care of YOU. It can be anything you want. Just make sure you are doing it for yourself. For the record, Lindsay’s goal is to exercise 2 hours a week, one of those hours outside if at all possible! Nicole’s goal is to fit a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise in to each day of her week, because she knows she’s a better Mom, more energized teacher, and happier person when she’s exercising regularly!
We will give you a couple weeks to come up with a challenge. During the week of the 17th (we are open Presidents Day btw) when you are in the studio, we will add
your goal to our Challenge board.
Each week, when you come in for your lesson or class, make a note on the board whether or not you completed the task and how you feel.
We want everyone’s goals to be visible for all of our students at Renew so that we can help each other stay motivated. We all feel good when we help out other people, so let’s cheer each other on to take better care of ourselves! (And hey, maybe you’re not the only one who wants to get out and walk for 30 minutes each day, and you both agree to meet up and motivate each other!)
As always, we appreciate your suggestions in making our studio as welcoming as possible. If you’re no longer interested in receiving our monthly newsletters, please respond directly to this email and let us know!
With Love,
Nicole and Lindsay
